Running for the State House was one of the greatest experiences of my life. Going door-to-door opened my eyes to the important issues facing the citizens of Little Rock. And I remain humbled by the many people who supported my campaign so passionately with their time, energy and financial contributions.
I plan to continue to stay involved to better our community, to fight for a clean environment, to bolster educational opportunity and to push for legislation that helps Little Rock advance in a progressive way.
As we look to November, I hope you'll join me in supporting my friend John Edwards in his race for the Arkansas House of Representatives. John is a strong and experienced leader who will work hard to serve the people of District 38.
